Biology is coined from two Greek words- Bios meaning life and Logos meaning to study. Therefore, Biology can be defined as the study of life. Biology has two main branches which are; Botany (the study of plants) and Zoology (the study of animals) There are also other branches of Biology which include Microbiology, Virology, Cytology, Anatomy, Parasitology, Taxonomy etc.
